What should I wear?
We will have a consultation before the shoot and discuss what to wear and what to bring. Wardrobe plays a big role in the success of your session. It doesn’t mean necessarily buying new clothes, it means wearing the right clothes for your size and shape; and coordinating in family or group shots. Some clothes just won’t be flattering in a photograph and it’s best to not even try.
What about hair and make-up
Along with wardrobe, hair and make-up is very important. I recommend strongly for senior girls/boudoir and glamor shoots hair and make-up is done professionally.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Sessions are tailored to your needs. It’s helpful to have an idea of what you’re looking for before the session, and we can discuss that and pricing at the consultation. I offer a range of products and ideas, as well as wall portraits.
I am a fan of albums. It’s a book with pages to turn and admire forever — not a CD that gets shoved in a drawer, and forgotten.
Will you retouch my images?
Yes, skin blemishes, stretch marks etc are removed and softened. Stray hairs cloned out and so forth. I will not make you look like a mannequin, however. Overly smoothed skin makes images lifeless. I am quite obsessive about retouching and each file is done by hand.
Can’t I just have all the files on a CD?
I do sell digital images, but I’m not a shoot and burn photographer. I only show and sell the best images. All files are edited and ready to print.
What about Facebook? Privacy?
A resized copy of purchased images will be made available for phones and Facebook if requested. Apart from “sneak peeks”, I do not post sessions on Facebook.
How long do I have to order?
My pricing is very reasonable. I will be excited to present your shoot to you and help you choose the best images. As is customary, you place your order at the presentation.
